THE MILITARY WELLNESS PROGRAM ADMISSIONS

 

The Military Wellness Program is TRICARE Insurance and DoD approved.

 

The admission process for the Military Wellness Program at The Holliswood Hospital has been developed to be straightforward and streamlined in order for us to provide Servicemembers, veterans, family members, and military treatment providers with a concierge level of service.

 

 

 

By concierge we mean the following:

1.  Servicemembers, veterans, and family members will never have to wait to be admitted to our program.  We understand that in a crisis, it is important to have the appropriate level of care available, therefore we are committed to always having a bed available at anytime of the day or night.

2. Service members, veterans and their families are always given priority status during the admission process. They are formally greeted by a senior Military Wellness Program staff member upon their arrival to the hospital to welcome them and to facilitate their transition into our program.

We further this idea of enhanced attention and care by:

1.  Providing persons admitted to our Program with cell phones on the unit so they can stay in touch with Command, Treatment Providers, and Family.

2.  Allowing persons in the Program access to the internet during off-programming hours.

3.  Flexible and extended visiting hours for family or others who travel an extended distance to our location

4.  Access to a Fitness Center with exercise equipment.

5.  Coordinated communication and treatment planning with appropriate collateral contacts, including Command, MTF Providers, and family members.
